STRADELLA - DOC COLLI EUGANEI MERLOT

Obtained from the best grapes of Merlot picked up from balanced 50 years old vines and from more lively 15 years old one’s. In the glass you’ll find a perfect equilibrium between what our earth can give joined to the love and the passion for the his job of the wine-maker. Its best coupling is to be served with roast, game and old cheeses or why no in front of a warm fireplace


Process of wine making:

The grape harvest is made with the grapes just over-mature. The grapes pass into the Destemmer – Crusher and after start the fermentation with a controlled temperature of 26-27 °C, maceration with marcs of 10-12 days  with a daily delestage operations and partial removal of grape seeds.

After decanting and pressing , the wine stay to refine itself into 4500 lt oak barrel  and into 225 lt ones.

Naturally stabilized, not filtered  before bottling.

 

Alcohol level: 14,00 % vol.
