Characteristics

 

With the Friularo-Raboso grapevine we obtain our raisin wine. Special and intriguing , ideal to accompain seasoned cheeses, or in the end of dinner with dry cookies or chocolate cakes. The characteristic scent of cherry accompanies typical notes of the withering and spices . Its soft taste is balanced between sweetness and the typical freshness of this wine.


Process of wine making


The grapes perfectly mature are picked up on November, after put into little boxes and leaved to wither loosing water for at least 4 months. After this long period the grapes pass into the Destemmer – Crusher and after starts the slow fermentation with a maceratin with marcs for a long period of many weeks.After decanting and pressing , the wine stay to refine itself into 225 oak barresl. Naturally stabilized, not filtered before bottling.
